If Your Histology Lab Needs Reliable Cassette Printing, Then You Need LaserTrack™
LaserTrack Cassette Printers are the top choice for histology labs that demand smooth, efficient, dependable and error-free printing and labeling of cassettes as part of their lab workflow.
As many labs are implementing barcode-based identification and tracking of specimens to streamline workflows, enhance specimen traceability and eliminate errors, laser is the best and most preferred cassette printing technology.

I manage a Hospital Histology Lab, and we replaced a much larger cassette printer with the LaserTrack PH1. With the quick print speed and the small footprint, it prints the same amount of cassettes in a much smaller workspace. In the three months we have been using this unit, the scan rate has been 100% at the grossing station, embedding station and the microtomy station, which means those 7,000+ blocks have been scanned a total of more than 21,000 times with no fails. I think that’s just phenomenal! We’re now adding this cassette printer to our lab, and I would recommend it to histology labs of all sizes.
”We have the General Data AB1, formerly known as the CL-01, and it is fantastic! The barcodes and numbers are legible, they never come off in the processor, and there is no smearing or smudging. I find it very easy and compatible with every system, even our excel spreadsheets. I have used other cassette printers before, but I find the AB1 far superior. We did the whole lab in General Data equipment and have been fully satisfied with every aspect from start to finish, and I think the AB1 laser cassette printer was a great asset - you will not regret it!
