SHURFreeze™ Cryo Spray & SHURSharp™ Microtome Blades
SHURFreeze Cryogen Spray is a histological cooling spray that enables rapid freezing of tissue for cryostat or microtome sectioning. The SHURFreeze nozzle has an adjustable flow rate controlled by variable pressureon the trigger, and the extension tube allows for direct, pinpoint application. This environmentally friendly formulation is non-flammable, ozone safe, and contains no CFC's. It is harmless to metals, plastics, rubber, electronic hardware, and leaves no residue.
SHURSharp offers three Disposable Microtome Blades - a Teflon coated high-profile blade, a low-profile blade and heavy duty blade. High-profile and low-profile blades will fit into any corresponding high or low profile blade holders. These disposable microtome blades produce consistent sections; the proprietary blade coating process produces excellent ribbons that yield great slides.
