Industry Challenges
The barcoding equipment and supplies has been hit particularly hard by supply chain disruptions and key component shortages. Most of us have heard about chip shortages, but there are many others, such as the resins used for equipment casing, raw material shortages for suppliers of toner, ink, ribbons, label stock, adhesives, and more.

Labor Shortages
Our service technicians are highly trained and factory-certified professionals who deliver quality service that our customers have come to expect. Current labor conditions are causing higher rates for this level of talent.

Price Increase
Combine the above with the increased costs of fuel and vehicles of every size; which leads us to our announcement of a price increase for the first time in over a decade.

How Does This Affect You?
Effective March 1, 2022, or upon contract renewal, General Data Service Division will be increasing healthcare service pricing levels as follows:
The new onsite labor price will be $250/hr., the new depot labor price will be $150/hr., and contract prices will increase by as little as 5% and up to as much as 15%. However, since each contract is customized according to individual needs and preferences, the increase will also be assessed and assigned individually.
